# A walkie talkie app for your family

For the things you'd tell them if you were all gathered at the barbecue.

COPY gives your family a shared voice channel on iPhone. You say something once, and everyone can listen in their own time.

It can be the thing you would've said if you were all gathered at the barbecue.

## Put the family on the dial

A group takes one of COPY's twelve channels. Turn to it, hold the button, and talk. Everyone on that channel gets the message.

Your brother can have his own channel too.

## Getting everyone in

Get COPY, tap an empty channel, and choose A group. Send the invite in your family chat. Once everyone joins, you're ready to talk.

Everyone needs an iPhone with Wi-Fi or cellular data. Talking is free, and there's no account to set up. The [group guide](https://getcopy.app/help/make-a-group) has the controls if you need them.
