Invite a friend

Tap an empty channel, send your friend the link, and you share that channel as soon as they join.

Send an invite

1. Turn the dial to an empty channel. It says “+ Tap to add friends.”
2. Tap it and choose A friend.
3. Send the link however you like: Messages, WhatsApp, anywhere. Send the whole thing. The part after the # is your channel’s key, and COPY’s server never sees it.

While you wait, the channel says “Waiting for friend...”. Hold it to cancel. When they join, it says “Connected.”

What your friend sees

• If they have COPY, the invite opens on one of their empty channels with “Tap to join.”
• If they don’t, the link opens a page that says “A channel saved for you.” They tap Copy invite + Get COPY, install, and COPY picks up the invite during setup.

If it doesn’t work

• “Invite expired.” Links last 30 days. Tap the channel to send a fresh one.
• “All channels full.” Your friend needs an empty channel. In Settings, then Friends, then Reorder channels, they can move one off the dial.
• “Send it to a friend.” You opened your own link.
• “Link invalid.” Ask for a new one.
