Move COPY to a new phone

Install COPY on the new phone and enter your recovery key. Your friends and channels come back.

Restore

1. Install COPY.
2. On the welcome screen, tap Already have a walkie? Restore it.
3. Paste or type your 24 words and tap Restore.
4. In Settings, tap Restore Purchases to bring back devices you bought.

What your friends see

Their channel with you says “Connection changed.” They tap it and choose Trust this connection. It’s a quick check that it’s really you.

If it doesn’t work

• “That’s not a valid 24-word recovery key.” One of the words is off.
• “No walkie matches this recovery key.” A walkie that was deleted can’t come back.
